Bypass, repair and minimally invasive operations
When medication is no longer enough, our surgeons fix the problem at its root — through the smallest safe incision and with a recovery plan that starts before you even enter the theatre.
Pulsecrest surgeons perform bypass grafting, valve repair and replacement, and correction of congenital defects in adults. Every case is reviewed by a heart team — surgeon, cardiologist, anaesthetist and rehabilitation nurse — so the plan fits your whole health picture, not just the scan.
Wherever possible we operate minimally invasively: small incisions between the ribs instead of opening the breastbone. That means less pain, a shorter hospital stay — usually four to six days — and most patients walking the corridor the morning after surgery.
