Device implants, tuning and remote monitoring

When your heartbeat is too slow or irregular, a pacemaker keeps every beat on time. Implants take about an hour under local anaesthetic — and remote checks keep you safe between visits.

We implant single and dual-chamber pacemakers as well as resynchronisation devices for heart failure. The procedure uses local anaesthetic with light sedation, a small incision below the collarbone, and most patients go home the same day.

Afterwards, your device is checked remotely every few months and in clinic once a year. Battery changes are simple planned procedures, and our team is available around the clock if you ever feel dizzy, faint or unusually tired.
